Experienced center-back operating on the back nine of a distinguished career; he's intelligent in his positioning and reads the game well enough, but his physical decline is apparent—he can't recover from positional errors as quickly and his ability to deal with genuine pace has diminished. Still a professional and occasional starter for a mid-table side, but no longer an upgrade on younger alternatives.
