An attacking midfielder with excellent ball retention and the kind of technical security that lets him move the game forward without panic—good passer, willing runner into the box, and he understands positioning in the half-spaces. His weakness is a lack of real explosive quality; he's not going to beat a press by himself or create from nothing, so he needs a functioning midfield structure and time to work. A genuinely comfortable player, but not one who elevates those around him.
